The Australian Government’s Department of Human Services has handed Ethan Group over $27.4 million worth of deals for the provision of thousands of new PCs, Microsoft tablet computers and monitors.

The Department awarded Ethan Group with four separate contracts, each of which were won via a competitive tender process, with contract terms variously stretching from between March this year to April 2021.

Together, the deals see Ethan Group replace the Department of Human Services’ existing and ageing assets, business-as-usual updates, and servicing requirements for the Department itself and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), which is tasked with administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

“This includes provision of 3,400 Surface Pro i7s, 1,000 Surface Pro i5s, and 8,000 desktop PCs and monitors,” a spokesperson for the Department told ARN.

“Surface Pro contracts cover integration services only. The contract for desktop equipment includes both integration and installation services.”
