SDCC 2018 Cosplay!

It is that time of year again! San Diego Comic-Con 2018 arrived in full force last week down at the Convention Center just outside the Gaslamp District of San Diego, California, and we were there in full force this year to bring you as much coverage as we could of the event. First up, of course, is our COSPLAY photos, as the fans at Comic-Con yet again did not disappoint, and there were some very cool designs this year. In this post, I decided to show all of the photos we took featuring Cosplayers with ‘Star Wars’ themes, as well as Disney themes, as there were a lot of them this year!

Our favorites of this bunch had to be the kids who converted their wheelchairs into amazing vehicles and scenes from ‘Star Wars,’ including the rocky hill full of Porgs, Obi-Wan’s ride from ‘Revenge of the Sith,’ the Jedi Starfighter, the Droideka, the X-Wing, and the Rancor. My favorite runner-up is the guys who were basically “Kylo Ren on vacation” or ‘Tiki Kylo Ren,’ as I really like the paintings he added to his Kylo Ren mask and just the whole idea behind his costume.

That’s it for now, make sure to check back soon for ‘Cosplay Part 2’ from San Diego Comic-Con, and as always, feel free to share your own thoughts and opinions on this round of Cosplay photos in the comments below!

Nicholas Graff

A Southern California native (which seems to be a rarity as everyone seems to migrate here from outside the state, and everyone else born here ends up leaving for less crowded spaces), but for Nick, he loves it here. Nick has been writing since he was a teenager, self-published his first book trilogy, ‘The Legacy of the Roras’ back in 2011, and in 2014 published the inaugural issue of his first comic book, ‘The Shadow of Aquaterra.’ While not working on my own projects, he is working as a technical film editor at a major television network in their digital media division and recently began writing news and recap articles for ScienceFiction.com, a position which he has found extremely rewarding.
